2015 "NO LIMITS GIRLS AVIATION PROGRAM" HAS STARTED! We have returned to our roots. It all started as part of the 2011 Air Race Classic terminus in Mobile, AL. ARC was to work with the terminus committee to produce an innovative 6 month youth program to introduce girls to aviation. What started as an ambitious idea turned into a year long program for 15 girls at the Boys & Girls Club of South AL. Now, these girls who started as students, have become our team leaders for the 2015 program as the Air Race Classic flies into Fairhope, AL for the terminus.
But things are bigger and better this year: with the help of AOPA and the Giving Back Grant, we have expanded the program to include the Boys & Girls Club of the Emerald Coast. With the assistance from the Emerald Angels of the Gulf Coast 99s Chapter and local pilots and other volunteers, we will be host over 100 girls from the FL Panhandle to the Mississippi border in the all new 2015 "No Limits Girls Aviation Program". Please contact us so you too can volunteer and help these girls wing their way to brighter futures. Our program dates are as follows:
January 10, 2015 - Semmes Club, Semmes, AL - Program Introduction
January 17, 2015 - Fort Walton Beach Club, Fort Walton Beach, FL - Program Introduction
